RotaChock

RotaChock SlimLine
In cases where the standard RotaChock won’t fit the available space between the machine and the foundation, the RotaChock SL probably will!
With an overall height starting at only 20mm or 13/16” the slim line version will suit most of the retro-fit applications while still offering an adjustment range of 10mm or 3/8”.
Spherical Washer
Where the RotaChock adjusts itself to an angle up to 4 degrees between the machine foot and the foundation, the foundation bolt is rigid and will tend to bend when it’s torqued down.
To ensure an optimum bolted connection, Chock Design offers spherical washers to compensate for the angle between the bolt head/nut and the foundation.
Shims
One of the basic products for installing machinery is the shim – typically a small section of thin metal with a slot cut out to fit the foundation bolt. Although hard to improve a concept as simple as a shim, Ozishim holds some clever features over standard pre-cut shims:
• The tab makes it easy to align stacked shims – even with one hand!
• The thickness is clearly marked in Metric and Imperial
• No burrs – guaranteed!
• Made of 304 or 316 stainless steel
Pourable Chocking Compounds
The use of pourable chocking compounds is a proven method for shimming or setting machinery. Before curing sets in, the liquid 2-compound epoxy based resin spreads out evenly in the mould thereby eliminating the need for machining badly corroded surfaces. After a curing period ranging from 24 to 48 hours (depending on the ambient temperature) the resin is fully cured and ready to accept the load of the machine and foundation bolts.
